Johnstone Primary School Raises Over £2,000 for Beatson Cancer Charity

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the staff at Auchenlodment Primary and Early Learning Childcare Class on joining together to raise £2,142.83 for the Beatson Cancer Charity; understands that they raised this fantastic sum of money by participating in a 5k inflatable fun run; believes that this was a great moment for all the children and staff to participate in a worthy cause as a school community; understand that pupils and staff came together at a celebratory assembly to view some of the videos and photos of the staff participating in the fun run, and acknowledges that during the celebratory assembly, staff and children were joined by the Beatson Cancer Charity's mascot, Bella, for the cheque handover, which rounded off what it sees as a fantastic community campaign for the Beatson Cancer Charity.
