Celebrating Success at the 2025 SURF Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Routes to Work South on What I Need in Life (WIN) being shortlisted in the Removing Barriers to Employability category of what it considers the prestigious SURF Awards for Best Practice in Community Regeneration 2025; notes that these awards identify and celebrate best practice, innovation and achievement in interventions that improve Scotland's communities; understands that WIN is a holistic service, delivered in Rutherglen and Blantyre, which is co-designed with clients and offers participants a chance to build confidence and structure in their lives in a safe and supported environment; notes that it adopts a whole-person approach, incorporating physical, emotional, mental, and social aspects, while removing barriers to progression and enabling meaningful participation; congratulates all involved in the project, and wishes all at WIN well in their future endeavours.
