The Lifeboat
The motion
That the Parliament commends the band, Skipinnish. on releasing its charity single, The Lifeboat, in honour of Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) heroes; recognises that all proceeds from the track are being donated to the RNLI, directly supporting lifesaving services at sea; applauds the band’s use of its platform to raise awareness of the selfless work of lifeboat crews, past and present; thanks the volunteers, musicians and supporters who have brought this collaboration to life, and encourages the people of Scotland to support the single, the RNLI, and the broader culture of community, solidarity, and maritime safety across coastal regions.
