Charlotte Venning Named Youth 1st's Volunteer of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Charlotte Venning on being named volunteer of the year at the Youth 1st Awards and AGM; notes what it sees as her exceptional dedication and service and the positive impact that she has made in youth work and volunteering in Fife; recognises that Youth 1st is a vital support organisation for youth groups, volunteers, youth workers and young people in Fife; commends its training, advice, PVG scheme support, networking, programme support and capacity-building for community-based youth groups; acknowledges that Youth 1st’s member groups run over 190 youth organisations and clubs, reaching thousands of young people each year, with most of them led or supported by volunteers; commends the dedication of Charlotte, and wishes her all the very best for the future.
