DF Concerts & Events Recognised for Inclusive Live Music Experience with TRNSMT Festival

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates DF Concerts & Events on being honoured with the inclusion award at the West of Scotland Thistle Awards 2025 for its work on the TRNSMT Festival and other live experiences; recognises what it sees as the organisation’s outstanding efforts to create accessible, welcoming and inclusive environments for all attendees and participants; believes that this accolade reflects the dedication of staff and the wider stakeholder network in ensuring that live music events are enjoyable and accessible for people of all abilities; acknowledges the TRNSMT festival’s contribution to Glasgow’s cultural and music scene and its role in promoting inclusion, participation and positive experiences for audiences, and understands that the award highlights the importance of accessibility and inclusion in Scotland’s events and tourism sector.
