Piper Whisky Bar Recognised for Outstanding Hospitality

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Piper Whisky Bar on being recognised in the best bar or pub category at the West of Scotland Thistle Awards 2025; notes what it sees as the bar’s outstanding contribution to Glasgow’s hospitality and tourism sector, its celebration of Scottish hospitality and its creation of a welcoming and inclusive environment for both locals and visitors; acknowledges the dedication, creativity and hard work of the team behind the bar, whose professionalism and commitment to excellence enhance Scotland’s hospitality and tourism industry; believes that this award reflects the importance of supporting local businesses, promoting Scotland’s food and drink offerings and fostering cultural engagement for residents and visitors alike, and recognises the significance of such accolades in encouraging innovation, high standards and continued excellence across Glasgow and the wider West of Scotland region.
