Warren Berwick, Self Management Champion at the Self Management Awards 2025
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Warren Berwick on winning the Self Management Champion category at the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland’s Self Management Awards 2025; understands that, as a peer worker at the Thistle Foundation, Warren applies his lived experience of poverty and recovery to support others through their own recovery journeys; further understands that Warren facilitates veterans lifestyle management courses, supports older adults in the Thistle Gym, and helps serve meals at a hospice, and celebrates the positive impact that Warren’s volunteering has on the people that he supports.
