Success and Growth of Rutherglen’s Minerva Innovation Group

The motion

That the Parliament pays tribute to Rutherglen-based R&D funding specialist Minerva Innovation Group on its recent successes and growing recognition; believes that the company has helped innovative businesses across the UK and Ireland access many millions of pounds in R&D funding, supporting growth, innovation and high-quality employment; acknowledges that the resulting R&D funding contributes positively to science locally and internationally; highlights the company’s commitment to sustainable recruitment and employment practices, including its industry-leading equal parental leave policy of 57 weeks regardless of gender, which promotes gender equality and socio-economic mobility in the region; commends the organisation’s core values of honesty, diligence and forward thinking; congratulates the company on being named a finalist in the Fair and Healthy Workplace of the Year category, and its director, Adam Pearce, on being named a finalist in the Young Business Person of the Year category at the 2025 Glasgow Business Awards, and wishes Minerva continued success with its ongoing expansion in Rutherglen and Dublin.
