Commending Longniddry and District Rotary Club’s Charity Golf Day
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Longniddry and District Rotary Club on the success of its recent charity golf day, which was held at Longniddry Golf Club; notes that the event raised over £4,000 for local charities, including East Lothian Foodbank and the John Bellany Day Centre; recognises the efforts of club members, volunteers and participants in organising and supporting the event; celebrates the role of community-led initiatives in strengthening local support networks and promoting charitable giving, and wishes the Rotary Club continued success in its future fundraising and community engagement activities.
