Christ the King RC Church Celebrates Golden Jubilee
The motion
That the Parliament celebrates the 50th anniversary of Christ the King RC Church in Grangemouth on 10 October 2025; recognises that the church was opened in October 1975 by Canon Kruger as a centre for all with worship at its heart; notes that a crucial feature of the building is its Stations of the Cross, which were moulded by J Higgins, showing the main symbols of Hindu, Muslim, Christian and Jewish faiths; celebrates the 50 years that Christ the King RC Church has served the local community, epitomising what it sees as a warm and welcoming space of worship and a spiritual place open to all, with notable community outreach such as the Saturday lunch club, and congratulates Christ the King RC Church and all parishioners on this special milestone.
