Congratulating Bernard Harkins on His Service to Musselburgh and Inveresk Community Council
The motion
That the Parliament commends Bernard Harkins for his work with the Musselburgh and Inveresk Community Council as vice-chairperson; notes that Bernard has decided not to seek nominations for the next community council elections; further notes that during his time on the community council he has been part of the dedicated team responsible for the annual Musselburgh Children's Gala, Christmas lights display and torchlight procession, remembrance events, annual poppy collection and the annual Musselburgh Citizen of the Year award, and thanks Bernard for the important role that he has played in bringing the community of Musselburgh together.
