Falkirk MECS Nominated in Great British Care Awards 2025

The motion

That the Parliament commends Falkirk's Mobile Emergency Care Service (MECS) on being shortlisted as a finalist in the Great British Care Awards 2025; notes that these awards recognise individuals and organisations in the social care sector for the delivery of excellent care; further notes that the MECS team has been nominated in the Home Care Team category; recognises that the team provides a 24/7 urgent response service, which contributes to helping people in the Falkirk area to live confidently and independently in their own homes, and wishes the team, and all other finalists, the best of luck at the Scottish final on 10 November 2025 in Glasgow.
