Callum Gibbs, Falkirk East’s World Solo Drumming Champion

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Callum Gibbs, who is a former Larbert High School student, on his recent success at the World Solo Drumming Championships; notes that Callum won the oldest section of the juvenile category, Juvenile 5, at the event, which was held on 18 October 2025 at Glasgow Caledonian University; further notes that the World Solo Drumming Championships is an annual event organised by the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association; recognises that the Championships is notable for the very high standard of young drummers who compete each year; congratulates Callum on the extraordinary achievement of becoming a world solo drumming champion, and wishes him well with his future studies and endeavours.
