Coldstream Butcher’s Triple Triumph

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates GJ Sanderson Butchers of Coldstream on winning the South East Regional Traditional Steak Pie Championship for a third time at the Scottish Craft Butchers Awards 2025; notes with pleasure that GJ Sanderson Butchers has been an independent family-run business for over 16 years, supplying high-quality fresh meat, award-winning pies, sausages and pastries to customers in both Scotland and across the borders; recognises the skill, dedication and craftsmanship demonstrated by Graham Sanderson and his team in maintaining traditional recipes and consistently producing products of exceptional quality; acknowledges the wide range of speciality meats and baked goods provided by the butcher, and the pride and care that the business takes in every product it supplies; understands the commitment, passion and expertise required to achieve repeated recognition at a regional level, and commends Graham Sanderson and his team for their continued success and contribution to Scotland’s rich food culture.
