Congratulating Alfred Flett Ltd on Being Named Best Building Contractor of the Year 2025

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the entire team at Alfred Flett Ltd on being named Best Building Contractor of the Year at the 2025 Construction Awards of Excellence in Birmingham, which were hosted by the National Federation of Builders; understands that this award is given on the basis of outstanding performance by a building contractor, including a consistent demonstration of excellent skill and craftmanship across projects; recognises that Alfred Flett Ltd was honoured with this award because of the team's commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable building services in Orkney, which include the recent renovation projects of the mash house at Highland Park Whisky Distillery and the Old Library in Kirkwall; commends the team at Alfred Flett Ltd for their fantastic work, and further congratulates them on this well-deserved recognition.
