STUC St Andrew’s Day Anti-racism and Anti-fascism March and Rally 2025
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that the Scottish Trade Union Congress (STUC) Anti-racism and Anti-fascism March and Rally will take place in Glasgow on 29 November 2025, leaving from the Barrowlands Park at 10.30 am and heading to Adelaide Place in Bath Street for an indoor rally at noon; understands that this year's theme is "Stand Up, Speak Out: Unite Against Racism", which, it believes, reflects a need in the current political landscape to oppose hateful ideologies; stands in solidarity with Scotland’s anti-racist and anti-fascist organisations and with the ethnic minority groups taking action against injustice, intolerance and inequality, and encourages people to attend what it regards as a vital and important event.
