40 Years of Inverleigh Pétanque Club
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Inverleith Pétanque Club on its 40th anniversary; notes the club’s significant achievements in that time, including representing Scotland in the European Cup for Clubs, producing players to play for the Scottish national team, and hosting national and international competitions; thanks the club for its contribution to the Inverleith community, from hosting community events to helping members become qualified coaches, and wishes it the best in working with the City of Edinburgh Council to secure its long-term future and become a centre of excellence for pétanque.
