Tarlair Wins at the Annual Trade Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates everyone involved in the restoration of the pavilion at the Tarlair outdoor swimming pool in Macduff, with the project winning the Home or Building Improvement Award at the prestigious 13th Annual Trades Awards; recognises the dedication and vision shown in transforming the historic Art Deco pavilion into a vibrant venue featuring a meeting space, café and roof terrace; applauds the volunteers, funders and contractors whose hard work has helped return this much-loved community landmark to use; notes that the project preserves an important part of local heritage while supporting regeneration, wellbeing and a renewed sense of pride in the Banffshire and Buchan Coast area, and encourages continued investment and collaboration to secure the full restoration of the wider pool complex and surrounding site for future generations.
