Govanhill Family Support Group, Respite and Therapy
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Govanhill Family Support Group (Against Abuse - Drugs & Alcohol), in Glasgow, on receiving £9,420 from National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands that the grant will fund massage therapy and respite for families affected by addiction; acknowledges the National Lottery for supporting family wellbeing services; believes that there is a need for therapeutic respite in recovery journeys; understands that such support benefits families across Govanhill and surrounding areas in Glasgow, and commends the group.
