Miscarriages of Justice Organisation (Scotland) Awarded Finding for Aftercare Service
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Miscarriages of Justice Organisation (Scotland), serving Glasgow, on receiving £96,926 from Fairer Life Chances; understands that the funding will deliver an aftercare service for individuals and families affected by miscarriages of justice across Scotland; acknowledges Fairer Life Chances for this award; recognises what it sees as the long-lasting impact of miscarriages of justice and the need for specialist aftercare; believes that tailored support will assist survivors and families in Glasgow and beyond, and commends the organisation.
