2050 Climate Group, Empowering Young Climate Leaders
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the 2050 Climate Group, based in Glasgow, on receiving £71,190 from Community Action to continue delivering its Climate Action Leadership Programme; notes that the programme equips young people aged 18 to 35 years with leadership skills, climate knowledge, and confidence; acknowledges what it sees as the importance of supporting youth-led climate work; recognises the group’s role in developing a new generation of climate leaders; believes that this investment will strengthen long-term climate resilience, and wishes the organisation every continued success.
