Kinning Park Complex SCIO Awarded Funding to Mark an Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kinning Park Complex SCIO, in Glasgow, on receiving £20,000 from National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands that the grant will fund events, workshops, exhibitions and storytelling to mark an anniversary; acknowledges the National Lottery for supporting community heritage and celebration; recognises the role that such events play in strengthening local identity; believes that commemoration and community storytelling will enrich civic life in Glasgow, and congratulates the Kinning Park Complex SCIO.
