Greater Pollok Services Community Interest Company, Volunteering and Community Garden

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Greater Pollok Services Community Interest Company, in Glasgow, on receiving £9,000 from National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands that funding will increase staff hours to continue a volunteer programme and community garden over 10 months; acknowledges the National Lottery for backing local volunteering and greenspace work; recognises the health and social benefits of community gardens and volunteer opportunities; believes that this will support ongoing community cohesion in Greater Pollok, Glasgow, and congratulates the organisation.
