Creative Hangouts CIC Wins Funding to Develop the Next Generation of Artists

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Creative Hangouts CIC, located in Glasgow, on receiving £19,500 from National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; notes that the funding will support a volunteer development scheme enabling participants to shadow established artists, build skills and deliver their own sessions; acknowledges the organisation’s commitment to accessible creativity; recognises the benefit of nurturing emerging artists; understands how creative participation strengthens communities, and wishes the group every success.
