SCIO Music & Art Centre Nightingale Delivers Support for Ukrainian Community
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates SCIO Music & Art Centre Nightingale, in Glasgow, on receiving £10,200 from National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; notes that the grant will deliver a pilot programme of classes primarily for the Ukrainian community in Glasgow; acknowledges the National Lottery for supporting community arts and integration; recognises the role of arts in social connection and recovery for displaced communities; understands that such programmes aid cultural inclusion across Glasgow, and commends the centre.
