Geeza Break, Respite for Families with Additional Support Needs
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Geeza Break, in Glasgow, on receiving £186,655 from Fairer Life Chances; understands that the funding will deliver respite breaks and whole-family support to families with children with additional support needs in the East End of Glasgow; recognises Fairer Life Chances for funding what it sees as this this vital provision; further recognises the importance of family-centred respite and specialist support; believes that sustained investment eases pressure on carers and improves outcomes for children, and commends Geeza Break.
