22nd Annual STUC Disabled Workers' Conference, 22-23 November 2025

That the Parliament notes that the 22nd annual STUC Disabled Workers’ Conference is scheduled to place on 22-23 November 2025 in Glasgow; understands that disabled trade union delegates, organisers and members from the North East Scotland region and across the country will be in attendance; notes the upcoming launch of Close the Gap’s new report, Excluded by Design – Research exploring disabled women’s employment in Scotland, which highlights how structural inequality, discrimination and inaccessible workplaces continue to exclude disabled women from secure, well-paid employment; calls on the Scottish Government, businesses and employers in Scotland to address these barriers and guarantee access for disabled workers, and sends its solidarity to the STUC Disabled Workers’ Conference, and all disabled workers across Scotland.
