Wishing Helen Mathieson from Aurrida House a Happy Retirement
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Helen Mathieson, from Orkney, on her retirement after 30 years of dedicated service at Aurrida House in Kirkwall; understands that Aurrida House provides a range of different services for young people in need of support arising from a physical, sensory or learning disability; notes that Helen has played an instrumental role in delivering high-quality support and care and promoting the wellbeing of children and families that have accessed Aurrida House's services throughout her career; thanks her for her commitment to ensuring that children with additional support needs in Orkney have a space and community in which they can learn, grow and thrive; congratulates Helen on her well-deserved retirement, and wishes her and everyone at Aurrida House all the best for the future.
