MG Alba Highlands and Islands Player of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Lori Lappin, of Buckie Ladies, on being named MG Alba Highlands and Islands Player of the Year at the ScottishPower Women’s Football Awards 2025; recognises that this achievement is a testament to Lori’s talent, dedication and hard work on and off the pitch; celebrates the contribution of everyone at Buckie Ladies, whose commitment to the sport and their community has helped to create opportunities, build confidence and inspire a new generation of young women and girls across Buckie and the wider region, and wishes Lori and the whole team continued success in the seasons ahead, both in their footballing journey and in their role as positive role models for the community.
