Commending Specsavers Wishaw for Its Christmas Gift Bank Initiative
The motion
That the Parliament commends Specsavers Wishaw for establishing its gift bank; understands that the initiative is collecting new, unwrapped gifts suitable for children aged 10 weeks to 15 years; notes that it aims to support young people staying in the paediatric ward at Wishaw General Hospital over Christmas 2025; recognises the generosity of the store, its staff and the community in spreading festive cheer and supporting children during the holiday season, and highlights the positive impact of such initiatives on children, families and the wider Wishaw community.
