Closing NHS Lothian Funding Gap
The motion
That the Parliament understands that NHS Lothian reportedly faces a £50 million funding gap, even after identifying £54 million in savings this year, and believes that short-term cuts will not fix long-term problems and that the NHS board requires a patient-first strategy to cut waste and reinvest every pound saved directly into frontline services across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
