Senior Champion Honoured for Community Dedication
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Wilma Mather on being named Senior Champion at the 2025 Glasgow Community Champion Awards; notes her long-standing commitment to the Summerston community and the support that she has provided to neighbours, older residents and local projects over many years; recognises the vital role played by senior community champions in volunteering, mentoring, providing local leadership and preserving community cohesion, and acknowledges how contributions from people like Wilma help build stronger, inclusive and caring communities across Glasgow.
