Celebrating McLauglin & Harvey, Forth Valley College and GoodBuild’s Recolour Scheme
The motion
That the Parliament commends the efforts of McLaughlin & Harvey, Forth Valley College and GoodBuild to support students and reduce waste through the Recolour Scheme; understands that the GoodBuild Recolour Scheme is supported by Dulux and is an initiative that collects surplus and leftover paint, reconstitutes it and makes it available for reuse; commends the scheme for its efforts to both divert hazardous waste and promote sustainability and support the development of young people in the industry; notes the wide-ranging positive impact of this scheme; understands that GoodBuild is Scotland’s first community construction hub; commends this innovative project, and wishes all involved in this collaboration the best for the future.
