Glasgow Community Champion of the Year Honoured

That the Parliament congratulates Natalie Dakhil on being named 2025 Community Champion of the Year at the Glasgow Community Champion Awards; notes that Natalie co-founded the suicide support group, A Place Called Here, along with her husband, which provides vital support and compassion to families and individuals affected by suicide; recognises the importance of grassroots, community-led mental health and wellbeing initiatives in offering emotional support, raising awareness and saving lives; acknowledges Natalie’s personal dedication and the positive impact that her work has had on mental health support in Glasgow, and recognises the value of such efforts in fostering community resilience, solidarity and hope across the city.
