Celebrating Margaret Dewar’s Award-winning Photography

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Margaret Dewar, an amateur photographer from Motherwell, on winning a nationwide photography competition launched by housebuilder David Wilson Homes; notes that the initiative was designed to inspire local residents to pause and appreciate the natural beauty around them while celebrating the diverse wildlife and nature that share their communities; recognises that her photograph of Strathclyde Park was one of three winning entries selected from submissions across Scotland, with judges commending its simplicity and authenticity in capturing the country’s natural scenic beauty; notes that her photography will be displayed on the David Wilson Homes website and used in future marketing collateral, and commends Margaret for her creativity and for showcasing the beauty of Scotland’s natural environment.
