Parliament Celebrates 90 Years of Stonehouse Male Voice Choir

That the Parliament celebrates the 90th anniversary of Stonehouse Male Voice Choir; acknowledges the important contribution made by the choir to the local community since being formed by a few joiners in a builders' yard in 1936; understands that the choir performs multiple times per year as part of charity fundraisers and community events; further understands that Stonehouse Male Voice Choir will be holding an anniversary concert at St Ninian’s Church, Stonehouse, on 20 March 2026, where it will be joined by Coalburn Brass Band, Arietta Ladies Choir and its own recently formed Junior Choir, and wishes the choir all the best for the future.
