River Clyde Homes Retains Investors in Young People Platinum Accreditation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates River Clyde Homes on successfully retaining its Investors in Young People (IIYP) Platinum accreditation; notes that Platinum is the highest level of recognition awarded by IIYP and is held by only around 3% of accredited organisations; recognises that this award reflects the housing association’s sustained excellence in supporting, developing and empowering young people in the workplace; acknowledges the collective effort of staff across River Clyde Homes in creating meaningful career pathways, fostering skills development and ensuring that young colleagues are supported to thrive; commends the leadership of Aileen Metcalfe, group services director, and Nicola Campbell, senior HR manager, for their ongoing commitment to placing young people at the heart of the organisation’s culture; welcomes the comments of IIYP practitioner Nicola Dillon, who praised River Clyde Homes as an outstanding example of high performing youth employment practice and a benchmark for the housing sector, and wishes the organisation continued success in its work supporting young talent across Inverclyde and beyond.
