Illuminate Dance Studio Fundraising for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

The motion

That the Parliament recognises and commends the junior and senior dancers at Illuminate Dance Studio in Wishaw for their outstanding contribution to a fundraising event in support of Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity; notes that the "Purple Party" charity night, organised by Clare Thompson, raised over £1,600 for the charity, which provides vital care and support to children and families across Scotland; acknowledges that the event was inspired in part by the studio’s personal connection to the hospital, with some dancers having received care there, and commends all those involved, including the dancers, families and organisers, for using their talents and community spirit to support such an important cause.
