Motherwell Care Staff Recognised at Stars of Social Care Awards 2026 for Outstanding Service and Dedication

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates David Norris and Jacqueline Woods, both of Constance Care in Motherwell, on their nominations at the Stars of Social Care Awards 2026, which celebrate excellence in the social care sector across the UK; notes that David has been nominated for the Fabulous Team Leader Award and Jacqueline for Inspirational Care Home Manager (North); recognises that the awards ceremony will bring together care professionals from across the country to honour outstanding achievement, leadership and dedication in social care; acknowledges what it sees as the exceptional standard of care provided by the nominees and their teams, including the compassionate, person-centred support delivered to service users and the consistently high level of commitment shown in going above and beyond daily responsibilities; recognises what it sees as the vital role of Constance Care in supporting individuals and families within the community, and commends both nominees for their professionalism, kindness and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those they care for.
