Street Food Award Success for Kilsyth Academy's Douglas Bonnar

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Douglas Bonnar, catering manager at Kilsyth Academy, on winning the ASSIST Facilities Management Scottish Local Authority Street Food Competition; notes that the prize was awarded for his chicken shawarma dish at the ASSIST Facilities Management Annual Conference in Glasgow; further notes that the category required a recipe that met Healthy Eating in Schools requirements, whilst also being tasty and sustainable; believes that the street food category reflects the popularity of street food options amongst senior pupils, and commends Douglas Bonnar and all school catering staff for their work providing nutritious food for the pupils of Kilsyth Academy.
