Recognising Community Support for Dunbar RNLI Fundraising Efforts
The motion
That the Parliament commends the efforts of volunteers and local residents in supporting Dunbar RNLI; notes that more than £800 was raised through recent collections, which were held at locations across the town, including the Co-op stores on High Street and Countess Crescent, and at Asda; recognises the hard work and dedication of the Dunbar RNLI fundraising committee in organising the event; further recognises the generosity of the local community in contributing to this total; acknowledges the vital role that such fundraising activities play in supporting the RNLI’s lifesaving work at sea; praises the commitment of volunteers who give their time both on land and at sea to protect lives, and wishes Dunbar RNLI every continued success in its future fundraising initiatives and operational work.
