Asda Dyce Celebrates 50 years

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates Asda’s Dyce store in Aberdeen Donside on its 50th anniversary; notes that the store, which first opened in 1976, has been at the heart of the community, serving generations of residents in the Dyce area of Aberdeen and surrounding neighbourhoods; understands that the milestone was marked in store with a special day of celebrations, where staff members old and new enjoyed a special buffet, a raffle and a dedicated display wall in the store’s canteen area, which featured archive photos from across the decades, allowing staff to reminisce on times gone by; congratulates all staff both past and present at the store for their continued hard work and dedication to serving the people of Dyce and beyond, and wishes them all the best for the future.
