Commending Kaiden McCann's Heroic Act
The motion
That the Parliament commends the bravery of 19-year-old Kaiden McCann who rescued a man in a wheelchair from a burning flat in Newtongrange; understands that Kaiden noticed smoke from an apartment building and sprang into action, running into the building to check whether anyone was there; understands that Kaiden grabbed the man and brought him to safety before running back in to retrieve the man's wheelchair; further understands that the man was successfully treated by paramedics at the scene, and thanks Kaiden for his bravery and strength.
