Congratulating St Brendan’s Primary School on Euroquiz Success
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the team from St Brendan’s Primary School in Motherwell on winning the North Lanarkshire heats of Euroquiz 2026; notes that the competition tests pupils’ knowledge of European history, languages and culture, while encouraging confidence, teamwork and an interest in other cultures; recognises the hard work and dedication shown by the pupils in securing first place; notes that the team will now go on to represent North Lanarkshire at the national final in Edinburgh in June 2026; acknowledges the efforts of staff and organisers in supporting the competition, and wishes St Brendan’s Primary School the very best for the final.
