Pencaitland Wildflower Tea Wins at RHS Chelsea Flower Show

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dr Sally Gouldstone, of Pencaitland, on winning the Sustainable Lifestyle Product of the Year award at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026 for her Meadow Blend Tea; recognises the significance of this achievement in showcasing innovative, sustainable Scottish products on a global stage; commends the work of Dr Gouldstone’s company, Seilich, which produces caffeine-free herbal tea from botanicals grown in a biodiversity-rich wildflower meadow managed without synthetic fertilisers, herbicides or insecticides; notes the environmental benefits of this nature-positive approach, which supports biodiversity while demonstrating full traceability and local production; acknowledges the creation of a mobile meadow display at the Chelsea Flower Show to highlight this work, and wishes Dr Gouldstone and the Seilich team continued success in promoting sustainable agriculture and environmentally responsible enterprise in Scotland and beyond.
