Bearsden Academy Under 18s Win Cameronian Cup for Second Year in a Row
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Bearsden Academy on winning the Cameronian Cup for the second year in a row; recognises that the match was a repeat of the 2025 final against St Peter the Apostle High School (SPTA) at Celtic Park, with Bearsden running out 3-2 winners this time; understands that Bearsden took a commanding 3-0 lead before SPTA got a goal back with 15 minutes left to play; notes that SPTA scored again with five minutes remaining but Bearsden were able to hold out and once again win the cup; sends commiserations to SPTA for what will be a disappointing result but commends the team on its valiant effort; congratulates all the players and coaches involved in Bearsden Academy’s incredible success, and wishes them all the best for the future.
