The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the 10th anniversary of the partnership between Aldi Scotland and Aberdeen Donside-based brewery, Fierce Beer; understands that, during this partnership, more than two million beers have been sold by the supermarket to shoppers across Scotland; notes that the supermarket also stocks over 50 different beer variations, from lagers to non-alcoholic options; recognises that alongside this milestone partnership, Fierce Beer have launched a new beer, Hometown, to celebrate Scotland’s World Cup campaign; believes that this launch reflects the growing popularity of limited-edition event beers that have become a significant part of the partnership over recent years; commends the work carried out by both Aldi Scotland and Fierce Beer, and wishes them both continued success going forward.
