25 Years of Moray Chamber of Commerce
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Moray Chamber of Commerce on the occasion of its 25th anniversary; notes that members of the chamber and Moray’s wider business community came together to mark a quarter-century of the organisation with a celebration on The Macallan Estate on 10 June 2026; understands that the event saw three early figures in the chamber’s history, Jim Johnston, Margery McLennan and Ron Taylor, named as honorary presidents, as well as the launch of a special Speyside blend in a limited 10-bottle run; appreciates the chamber’s longstanding record of supporting good causes, having raised more than £83,000 over the last 15 years; recognises Moray Chamber of Commerce’s important role in supporting and championing Moray’s business community, as well as encouraging positive economic growth across the region, and wishes the chamber all the best for the future.
