Recognising the Ministry and Community Service of Rev Terry Moran
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the dedicated ministry of Rev Terry Moran as he retires after 11 years as Minister of Wishaw South Parish Church; notes that Rev Moran joined the congregation in August 2015, bringing with him a wealth of experience from previous roles in parish ministry, prison service, policing and church leadership; commends his commitment to supporting people in both their faith and everyday lives; recognises his role in establishing the Wishaw Drug Recovery Hub, which has provided vital support to individuals and families affected by addiction over the last 11 years; acknowledges the positive contribution that he has made to the wider Wishaw community through his compassion, leadership and service; thanks him for his dedication, and wishes him and his family every happiness and blessing in his retirement.
