Murray Landscapes Achieves Gold Employer Charter Accreditation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Motherwell-based family-run landscaping company, Murray Landscapes, on becoming the 100th business to achieve North Lanarkshire Council's Employer Charter accreditation; recognises that the company has been awarded the scheme's Gold Award in recognition of its exceptional commitment to fair work principles; notes that the Employer Charter promotes payment of the Real Living Wage, the employment of local people, the use of local businesses within supply chains where possible, and fair working practices that attract and retain employees; commends Murray Landscapes for building a strong reputation for delivering high-quality landscaping and grounds maintenance services, providing a reliable and customer-focused service through its dedicated and skilled team, and consistently delivering exceptional results for its clients; recognises the company's commitment to supporting local people, schools, hospitals, charities, grassroots sport and wellbeing initiatives through volunteering and practical assistance since 2016, and wishes everyone at Murray Landscapes continued success.
